A three-car crash in Glendale on Saturday night left two dead and three others injured, according to police.
The crash occurred about 11:30 p.m. near Glendale and 117th avenues when a car traveling west on Glen Habor Boulevard rear-ended a second car, pushing it into the eastbound lanes where it was hit by a third car, said Glendale police spokesperson Tiffany Ngalula.
The driver of the second car was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injures while a woman in the car died at the scene and a teenager later died at a hospital, Ngalula said.
The only person in the third car had minor injuries and was not taken to a hospital, according to Ngalula.
Two people from the first car remained at the scene, Ngalula said. One of them was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition as of Sunday morning, she said.
Both speed and impairment were being investigated, Ngalula said. No arrests had been made as of Sunday morning, she said.
