The offensive formula is pretty simple: run.
The Texans sport one of the worst run defenses in the NFL and are giving up 160.4 yards per contest. Tennessee should be pounding the rock early and often, forcing the Texans to overcome their Achilles heel.
Derrick Henry should have no issue picking up chunks of yardage, and doing so will also help the Titans control the clock and keep Deshaun Watson off the field. Furthermore, establishing the run game will open up the play-action, where Ryan Tannehill thrives.
We’ve been waiting for Henry to explode this season, and Week 6 presents as good of an opportunity as any. In his last meeting with the Texans in Week 17 of last season, the Alabama product torched Houston for 211 yards and three scores, en route to securing the rushing title.
