It’s been a sequence of ups-and-downs for the Tennessee Titans, who started out the season with consistency and an undefeated record.
Now sitting at 6-3 after a 34-17 loss to their division rival Indianapolis Colts, the Titans are facing more problems than just the ones they need to remedy on the field to get back to the win column.
Make that safety Kevin Byard and defensive end Jack Crawford, specifically, both of whom have been fined for infractions.
Safety Amani Hooker was spared for a fine for unnecessary roughness, while Byard was fined $10,000 for a facemask penalty on Anthony Miller and Crawford was fined $6,985 for a roughing the passer call on Nick Foles in the team’s 24-17 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 9.
Couple of #Titans fined in Week 9 win over Chicago:
–Kevin Byard (facemask on Anthony Miller): Fined $10,000
–Jack Crawford (roughing the passer on Foles): Fined $6,985
–No fine for S Amani Hooker (unnecessary roughness on Miller in 4th qtr)

Playing cleaner football will almost certainly be one of many things on the agenda as the Titans prepare to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11 at noon CT on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
