One firefighter injured during morning fire in Flats East Bank; fire under control

CLEVELAND — One firefighter has been injured this morning after a fire in the Flats. 

According to the Cleveland Fire Department, the fire broke out at a mixed-use building on Old River Road, right next to the Cuyahoga River. 

Officials say the fire is under control at this time and the case is currently under investigation. 

Cleveland Fire has shut down several roads in the Flats, including Old River Road between Main Avenue S. and the Regional Transit Authority tracks.
