ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Tropical Storm Iota is brewing in the Caribbean Sea and threatening a second major hurricane for Nicaragua and Honduras. The U.S. National Hurricane Center said Saturday night that the storm is about 365 miles south of Kingston, Jamaica, and could reach the coasts of Nicaragua and Honduras by Monday. Iota is expected to strengthen quickly into a major hurricane as it approaches Central America. The Caribbean island of Providencia and parts of Nicaragua and Honduras are under hurricane warnings. It comes as the region is still grappling with the aftermath of Eta, which killed at least 120 people in Central America and Mexico.
