ERIC CERTAINLY TALKED ABOUT IT LAST NIGHT, BUT IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS. UPWARDS OF FOUR OR FIVE INCHES IN SOME PLACES. YES, THIS IS A LOT OF SNOW, SOMETHING WE WEREN’T SEEING COMING. THIS WAS TWIN MOUNTAIN AND THE OTHER PROBLEM, THIS IS VERY HEAVY, WET SNOW SO WE ARE A HEARING OF POWER OUTAGES NOW. BRAD IS TELLING ME HE JUST LOST POWER AFTER HE SENT ME THIS PICTURE IN TWIN MOUNTAIN. IN RANDOLPH, JULIE D. THAT’S EASILY FOUR, MAYBE FIVE INCHES ON HER DECK THERE. SO ROADS, OBVIOUSLY, WOULD BE PRETTY SLICK IN THAT AREA BECAUSE OF THE SNOW THAT’S FALLEN AND CREWS PROBABLY SCRAMBLING TO GET OUT THERE AND TAKE CARE OF IT. IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE, IT’S BEEN VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND SOME HUGE PUDDLES OUT THERE, TOO, TO THINK

Many Granite Staters woke up to find snow on their doorsteps on Saturday morning.Towns like Berlin, Lancaster, Littleton, Bethlehem and some other places in the white mountains saw snow.Jefferson saw about 5 inches of snow, while Lancaster saw nearly 4 inches.In Jefferson, Santa’s Village delayed their opening by a couple of hours to give plows enough time to clear the road.Meanwhile, the southern parts of the state like Jaffrey, Francetown, Laconia and Derry, all experienced heavy rain overnight.
