David Duval, the former No. 1 golfer in the world, turned golf broadcaster with the Golf Channel will miss covering the Masters Tournament after testing positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Augusta, Ga.

After testing positive, Duval said he doesn’t know how he was exposed to the virus.

“I’m so sad not being a part of the Masters coverage this week. I flew to Atlanta and drove to Augusta Sunday. I went straight to the testing site and got tested. Like so many other Americans I was apparently unknowingly exposed to COVID and tested positive.” Duval said in a tweet.

Duval is currently experiencing no symptoms of the virus and has returned to his Colorado home in Cherry Hills where he is going to quarantine in his basement.

Duval made the announcement via twitter Tuesday afternoon.
