MOORHEAD — The Clay County Department of Motor Vehicles office is scheduled to close at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in advance of its move to its new location inside the Moorhead Center Mall.

Clay County’s DMV will remain closed until Monday, Nov. 16, while the state of Minnesota transitions from the MnLARS to MnDRIVE program, according to a news release from Clay County.

The county approved the move Sept. 22 due to the impending cold weather. The DMV had required patrons to wait outside due to COVID-19-related social distancing guidelines.

The Clay County DMW will re-open at its new location in the mall at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at 420 Center Ave. in Moorhead.
