Car crashes into Fayetteville home, starting fire :: WRAL.com

— A car crashed into a home on Cedar Creek Road early Friday morning, sparking a fire.

The crash occurred before 4:15 a.m.

Investigators say a car lost control, went through the front yard and rolled through a ditch before crashing into the front of the home, waking a family of three inside.

The family was not injured, but two people inside the car were taken to the hospital. Their conditions were unknown.

Video from the scene showed damage to the front of the home and the roof. Fire crews were at the scene.
