UNPREDICTABLE, NEBRASKA WHETHER UP AND DOWN, RIGHT? YEAH TODAY IS GOING TO DEFINITELY BE ALL THE NEXT I SHOULD SAY 24 HOURS OR I WAS GOING TO BE WHETHER WHIPLASH WE’RE GONNA HAVE A WARM AFTERNOON AND THEN WE TRANSITION INTO CHANCE FOR FLURRIES BY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING RIGHT NOW. NONE OF THAT HAPPENING. WE HAVE A LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE DOWNTOWN OMAHA THOSE BEAUTIFUL LIGHTS 57 DEGREES. WE DO HAVE SOME CLOUD COVER OUT THERE KEEPING US A LITTLE WARMER. SO WE HAVE A MILD START TO OUR SATURDAY, BUT WE HAVE WIND’S COMING IN FROM THE SOUTH AT AROUND 14 MILES PER HOUR RIGHT NOW THOSE WINS. EXPECTED TO PICK UP AS WE GO THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND COMING IN FROM THE SOUTH THAT’S GOING TO HELP US REACH THOSE LOW 70S LATER TODAY ALL OF THE VIEWING AREA IN THE LOWER TO MID 50S, BUT TAKE A LOOK AT OUR 24 HOUR TEMPERATURE CHANGE YESTERDAY AT THIS TIME. WE HAD FROST ADVISORIES AND FREEZE WARNINGS IN EFFECT RIGHT NOW. WE’RE IN THE 50S WERE ABOUT 20 DEGREES WARMER THAN WE WERE JUST 24 HOURS AGO YESTERDAY. WE SAW THOSE HIGHS MAX OUT IN THE UPPER 50S AND LOW 60S TODAY. WE’LL WARMER, BUT THEN AS WE GO THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS, THAT’S WHEN WE GET THINGS CHANGING. THAT’S WHEN WE START TO GET THOSE SHOWERS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF FLURRIES MIXING IN WITH THAT. SO AS YOU TAKE A LOOK AT OUR CURRENT NATIONAL SATELLITE AND RADAR WE COULD BE SEEING SOME SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH CENTRAL PORTIONS OF IOWA. SURE YET IF ALL OF THAT IS REACHING THE GROUND, BUT THAT’S NOT REALLY WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR TODAY TODAY. WE’RE GOING TO SEE SOME IN AND OUT CLOUD COVER WE COULD BE MOSTLY CLOUDY AT TIMES, BUT THAT’S NOT GOING TO KEEP US FROM WARMING UP INTO THE LOW 70S. WE’RE EXPECTING A HIGH OF 70 DEGREES AS WE GO INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS WITHIN THINGS CHANGE AND THEY CHANGE PRETTY QUICKLY. WE GET A COLD FRONT MOVING. INTO THE AREA AND BEHIND THAT IS WHERE WE SEE THESE SHOWERS MOVE IN WE COULD SEE SOME LOCALLY HEAVY SPOTS FOR THOSE SHOWERS AND THEN AS WE TRANSITION INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS, MAYBE THREE FOUR FIVE O’CLOCK IS WHEN WE COULD SEE SOME FLURRIES MIXING IN WITH THESE SHOWERS NOW, WE’RE NOT EXPECTING ANY SORT OF SNOW ACCUMULATION AND THE GROUND WILL BE FAR TOO WARM FOR ANY SORT OF SNOW TO REALLY PILE BECAUSE WE’LL BE SEEING THOSE TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S JUST HOURS EARLIER. BUT WE COULD STILL SEE THOSE FLURRIES START TO FALL THEN TURN INTO WATER AS IT REACHES THE GROUND. ALL OF THIS SHOWERS AND FLURRIES CHANCES MOVE OUT EARLY TOMORROW MORNING. SO BY AROUND EIGHT NINE O’CLOCK. WE’RE DRY. WE HAVE SOME IN AND OUT CLOUD COVER FOR OUR SUNDAY AS WELL. BUT COOLER WEATHER DOES STICK AROUND FOR NEXT WEEK. WE SEE THOSE HIDES BEHIND THAT SNOW BEHIND THOSE FLURRIES AND SHOWERS ONLY REACHING THE MID TO UPPER 40S A BIG DIFFERENCE FROM WHAT WE’RE EXPECTING TODAY TODAY. WE’LL SEE THOSE HIGHS NEAR 70 DEGREES WITH IT AGAIN LATE TONIGHT. WE SEE SHOWERS MOVE IN MAYBE AROUND 10:00 11:00 MIDNIGHT AND THEN INTO THE EARLY SUNDAY MORNING HOURS IS WHEN THOSE SHOWERS HAVE A CHANCE TO TRANSITION INTO RAIN FLURRY MIX THEY’RE NICE WINTRY MIX AND THEN AS WE GO THROUGH NEXT WEEK, WE START TO SEE THOSE
