41 test positive for COVID-19; Guam total at 5,965

Forty-one people tested positive for COVID-19 Saturday, according to the Joint Information Center.

The 41 positives were derived from 465 samples tested.

The new cases bring Guam’s total to 5,965 confirmed COVID-19 cases. That number includes 93 deaths, 1,930 people in active isolation.

As of Nov. 14, the COVID Area Risk, or CAR, Score for Guam was is 41.5, the Joint Information Center reported. It accounts for the incidence of new cases, how well current testing identifies these cases and the rate of spread.

An ideal CAR Score for Guam would be 5.0 and below, according to the Joint Information Center
